When I look back at the road I’ve traveled, I am blown away by all the twists and turns and how much I have changed.

I am currently living in a space of contemplation, not knowing which road to take, and so… I wait.

And I am reminded, quite dramatically of the things we cherish and yet somehow take for granted, like our families.

Having a professional family portrait done can really takes us back, to where we’ve been, how far we’ve come and God willing, how much we have grown and changed!

My two sisters are my best friends, and their babies are the light of my life, being with them is my favorite thing! I have always wanted to do a special photograph of myself with each of the children- but you know how it is, you want to wait until everything is perfect, and time just gets away from you.

Unfortunately (for me) my sister Lori’s road has taken her out of Arizona quite suddenly and with her goes her scrumptious children. So this weekend, days before the dreaded departure, my heart broken, I mustered up the energy to get in front of the camera (my least favorite thing LOL) nothing being perfect, the kids not in the mood, it was hard to not beat myself up for not doing a shoot every month!
